(Past Event) Garanti BBVA Concerts: Blood Red Shoes @ Zorlu PSM

UK-based indie rock duo Blood Red Shoes is coming to Istanbul for a high-energy live show on Thursday 2 October at Zorlu PSM, as part of the Garanti BBVA Genç Konserleri series. Organized in collaboration with Garanti BBVA, the concert will bring together fans of raw, guitar-driven rock and those curious to experience one of the most consistent and dynamic acts in the alternative music scene. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this unique night. Tickets are available on Passo.

Formed in 2005 by Laura-Mary Carter and Steven Ansell, Blood Red Shoes has spent nearly two decades building a solid reputation for their gritty sound and intense live performances. With a blend of indie rock, garage, noise pop, and a touch of post-punk, the band has developed a unique identity, balancing melody with edge. Their discography includes standout albums like Box of Secrets, Fire Like This, and Get Tragic, with tracks such as “It’s Getting Boring by the Sea” and “Light It Up” earning cult status.

Their Istanbul set is expected to span both early fan favorites and newer material that reflects the band’s evolving sound, one that has become darker, more layered, but no less urgent. Despite being a duo, Carter and Ansell create a full, thunderous presence on stage, something that’s long set them apart in the live circuit.

If you’re looking for a night of guitar-driven, high-impact music with a band that balances raw energy and refined songwriting, mark your calendar for October 2. Tickets are available via Passo.
