Atelier Muse Artist Residency Program in Istanbul accepts applications for the Fall 2017 period as “Find Your Calling Istanbul” Applications are now open for artists to be a part of the biggest transformational times of Turkey with creative and social value of their artistic practice in Istanbul.
18.5.2017, Atelier Muse, which has been established by Müge Olacak in order to put its signature under modern and contemporary projects, initiates a residency program and solely to support residential artistic exchange in Istanbul with its cosmopolitan and authentic cultural atmosphere. The artists who are wishing to inspire, be inspired and bring their creative ideas into life can apply this program through the organization website ateliermuse.org till June 20, 2017.
Atelier Muse Residency Program is the realization of a lifelong dream to add value to life by coming together, exchanging our unique knowledge and creativity with curiosity. As a research, production and community initiative to expand horizons with art, this year Atelier Muse invites artists to host and connect their muses in the queen of the cities Istanbul while in the biggest transformational times of turkey and the whole world as well. Artists are encouraged to be a part of this transformation with their creative, curious and conscious ways of thinking. Looking at saint Istanbul where East and West unite from artists’ points of view would be not only a valuable investment for the future of art but also the considerable step to inspire and carry this enthusiasm within societies through art.
Program expects to host artists from various disciplines as Performance, Dance, Writing, Community Art, Film & Video, Photography and Media Arts. Artists can join the residency from 2 weeks to 3 months’ time duration between August 1 and November 30, 2017. Each project is tailored through the needs and concept of the artist by Atelier Muse. Resident artists have a chance to get in touch with local arts and social communities via talks, workshops, video screening or any other gathering event. At the end of the residency program of each artists, a presentation such as an exhibition, performance or showing will be organized.
