One of the pioneers of the Turkish rap scene, Ege Çubukçu, will take the Babylon stage on February 27. In 2005, Ege Çubukçu captivated a wide audience with hits like “Yaz Geldi”, “Hey DJ”, and “1 Gün”, playing a crucial role in introducing Turkish rap to the mainstream. Through his energetic performances on radio, television, and university festivals, he added significant value to the culture.
Ege Çubukçu continued to showcase his innovative style with singles such as “Kanatlanıp Uçacaksın”, “Yolumuz Aynı”, and “Parti İstanbul” while introducing a fresh approach to concept albums with his 2018 release, Derya. Now, after four years of meticulous work, he is set to release the first part of his new album on February 27. The album, titled Love, Chaos, Cliché, promises to create a unique musical and theatrical universe.
Joining him on February 27 are producers of the album, Polen and Alaca. Special guests Ezgi Alaş and İrem Derici will also accompany the crew. For the first time, details of the album’s second part will be revealed during the show. Among other surprises of the evening are a special medley of LOVESZN songs, classic hits from his career, and hip hop love songs.
