Efterklang, the Danish band of childhood friends, will be performing at Blind on Friday 02 May in Istanbul. The band consists of three friends, Mads Brauer, Casper Clausen, and Rasmus Stolberg. Formed in December 2000, Efterklang has evolved in many ways. They are known for their experimental approach, blending elements of art pop and indie rock. Their music is characterized by a fusion of orchestral arrangements, electronic elements, and melodic vocals, reflecting their innovative and evolving sound. In 2012, they embarked on a unique project by recording their album ‘Pramida’ in the abandoned Soviet mining town of Pyramiden, located in the Arctic Circle. This endeavor showcased their willingness to explore unconventional methods to create immersive musical experiences.
Efterklang’s commitment to pushing musical boundaries has earned them a dedicated international following and critical acclaim within the indie and experimental music scenes.
