Özyeğin University, in collaboration with ATÖLYE, will host an Architectural Visualization workshop under the guidance of Martin Harrison-Priestman on Saturday 19 August. Running from 10:00 to 16:00, the entry fee is set at 400 TL. Participants must RSVP, with a 20% discount available for Fiba Holding and Özyeğin University members.

The course aims to introduce to the learner a broad spectrum of a fine artist’s materials and practices. Enabling the learner at the completion of the course to be able to express themselves and their ideas visually in a variety of mediums and methods.
Upon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:
1. Understand the basic principles and practices involved in the art of drawing architecture directly from life using a variety of mediums.
2. Understand the basic principles and practices in the art of drawing architectural visualisations and forms in space.
3. Understand the basic principles of perspective.
4. Have a basic awareness and an appreciation of the history of Art and its importance.
5. Understand the basic principles of tone and 3-D forms.
6. Understand the basic principles in the use of tone, chiaroscuro, and mark-making.
7. Understand the importance and have a basic understanding of composition.
8. Have developed their creative skills and mean’s of visualizing their
ideas.
9. Have developed their powers of independent thinking, self-discipline, and motivation.
Participants need to bring the following materials:
1. A-3 or A-2 sketch pad
2. 8b pencils
3. Conte crayons
4. Drawing charcoal
5. Rubber
6. Drawingboard
