On Tuesday 16 June, BIFO: Morricone – The Sound of Cinema features Borusan İstanbul Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Dirk Brossé at Atatürk Cultural Centre, Türk Telekom Opera Salonu as part of the 54th Istanbul Music Festival. Morricone’s work spans over 500 film scores and concert pieces, blending emotional depth with unforgettable melodies that continue to inspire audiences worldwide.
Under Dirk Brossé’s direction, BİFO performs with contributions from Koro İstanbul, soprano Nazlıcan Karakaş, flutist Veronika Vitazkova, and other instrumentalists, creating a rich and varied sonic palette.
