Istanbul International A Cappella Choir, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Centre, is seeking out new members.

Istanbul International A Cappella Choir is born from the collaboration between Circolo Roma of Istanbul and Martina Pavone: professional singer, musician, songwriter, performer and vocal coach. She specializes in a cappella music, vocal improvisation and circle singing, thanks to working with Bobby McFerrin, Bob Stoloff, WeBe3 and Oskar Boldre. Martina is also a cultural manager, blogger and event organizer in Milan and Istanbul.
With this choral project, we want to explore the voice’s universe, vocal technique, style, interpretation, harmony and everything concerned with the secrets of singing together. We want to build a solid group and for the future, to be able to participate to contests, concerts and festivals.
The musical experience, emotional involvement and the energy that are so powerful in a good choir are also so important. It is scientifically proven by Frontier in Neuroscience that heart rhythm of choristers become like one beat just after few bars of music with neurological and psychological benefits throughout the body. Any particular level is required; we are searching for curious, motivated and passionate people. The choir is going to work on mixed repertoire and Improvised Circle Songs.
