Uniting music, creativity, and technology, and hosting thousands of music lovers Sónar Istanbul, unveils its first wave of artists for the 7th edition in 2023! With the contribution of %100 Music on April 28th-29th and 30th, three days festival will bring outstanding artists from all genres of electronic music to perform once again.
The first phase of the lineup of Sónar Istanbul is announced. With the contribution of %100 Music, the hotly anticipated festival will present performances from across the spectrum of electronic music led by prominent names, spectacular AV shows, and delve into a Sónar+D program that explores the deep links between music, creativity and technology at Zorlu PSM.
The 7th edition of Sónar Istanbul will present its enormous line-up throughout 3 days for the first time in Sónar Istanbul’s history! Uniting music, creativity, technology, and hosting thousands of music lovers Sónar Istanbul extended its line-up for this year to 3 days. With the contribution of %100 Music, between April 28th to 30th, the festival announces new outstanding artists from all genres of electronic music. Sónar Istanbul, which will take place at Zorlu PSM between April 28th to 30th for the 7th edition, added new artists to its line-up. Sónar Istanbul will welcome pioneer curators and producers of electronic music such as Belfast-born/London-based epic duo BICEP (Live), composing and performing multifaceted electronic music with hopeful tones and a human aesthetic, David August (DJ Set), navigating their own way through techno music with their strong new steps, KAS:ST, establishing himself as a DJ in his own right and a producer with his intricately-synthesized electronic constellations, DJ Tennis and a classically trained musician who mixes the emotions of the known and unknown, Carlita as Astra Club (Carlita B2B DJ Tennis), creating sounds with glowering techno, ghostly piano pieces and fluttering folktronics, CLARK (Live), with his hyper-detailed works of electronic music which are rich with imagination and surprises, Objekt, fusing classical vocalism, pop sensibilities and contemporary club culture, Lyra Pramuk (Echoluminescence), a group whose incredible achievements place them at the forefront of the crossover between electronic music and rock Goose, a dynamic producer, genre-spanning selector, and a new name who’s gaining her spotlight, or:la. Sónar Istanbul 2023 will also host, the king of avant-garde electronica Richie Hawtin, globally renowned techno DJ ANNA, establishing herself as one of the most uncompromising and visible new talents in techno, VTSS, merging electronic music and visual art with a scientific inquiry through installations, live performances and immersive audio-visual experiences that point on humanity’s place in the world, Max Cooper (3D AV), illuminating a natural fluency for rhythm and creating a universe within techno, BLAWAN, one of the most exciting talents coming out of the UK, TSHA (DJ Set), having groove-laden basslines and bright, melodic hooks and Peruvian-born, Berlin-based producer, Sofia Kourtesis (DJ Set). The prominent artists of the Turkish electronic music stage will be performing during the festival, such as; Ali Özel B2B MFY, Duality By Dirgen & Karisman, Ece Özel, Evrim De Evrim B2B Procombo, Gaia Ekho, İpek İpekçioğlu, Merve Baykal B2B Feyza Emir, Moophy, Murat Uncuoğlu, Raw, Sinemis (Live) and Volkan Gündüz.
