Akbank Sanat will be hosting its 32nd Akbank Jazz Festival continuing the tradition of bringing life and liveliness to autumn in Istanbul through beautiful jazz tunes. The festival will be featuring names such as Norwegian Band HÜM, South African Pianist Abdullah Ibrahim and American Saxophonist Ravi Coltrane. Akbank Jazz Festival, one of Turkey’s longest running festivals, will bring different colours of Jazz to the city between 24 September-9 October, for the 32nd time.
Renowned as one of the most prestigious jazz festivals in Europe, Akbank Jazz Festival will host special performances from the international Jazz scene in for its 32nd year. Expanding its musical scope over the years by including various electronic, hip-hop and world music projects alongside classical and modern jazz works, Akbank Jazz Festival will transform the city this fall by bringing different genres of music together with jazz.
