Babylon Bomonti, as part of XXF Very Very French Festival, will host trumpet player Erik Truffaz on Saturday 25 November. Doors are set to open at 21:30, with tickets priced from 50 TL to 100 TL and available via Mobilet.

Erik Truffaz, who is one of the leading names in the European Jazz scene, will once again go on stage at Babylon on Friday, November 25 for the XXF Very Very French Festival, with Renault carrying the main partnership flag.

The French trumpet player is one of today’s most unique musicians, blending jazz with sounds that he’s selected from the fabric of contemporary music rather than playing jazz in its rawest form. The artist has taken on a distinct character within the jazz world through his albums and joint performances with musicians from various countries and musical movements such as İlhan Erşahin, Syl Johnson, Nya, Mounir Troudi, Hüsnü Şenlendirici and Philippe Garcia. To date, Truffaz has released countless albums under prominent record labels like Blue Note, and he is the recipient of France’s prestigious “Prix Special” Jazz award.
