As part of Performistanbul‘s Platform to Perform, Art On Istanbul hosts “Concrete” from AslieMk on Saturday 25 February. The main performance is set to start at 16:00.

In “Concrete” which is the third performance from their series “8”, AslieMk call attention to the individual contribution to ecological destruction, by leaving their carbon foot print on the ground of the inverted performance space.
The performance approaches our desires of intervention and possession towards the planet that we live in, while it is being transfixed by being buried in a defined space, and progressing with traces formed by tides covering one another against the time, creating new traces, and becoming impossible to move.
