Babylon Bomonti will host Michelle Gurevich (Chinawoman) on Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 December. Doors are set to open at 20:30, with tickets priced from 30 TL to 60 TL and available via Biletix (Tuesday/Wednesday).

Michelle Gurevich grew up listening to an extensive archive of her parents, made up of Soviet and European songs of the 1970s. With her ballads accompanied by intense lyrics and pure vocals, she is considered to be one of the pioneers of Slowcore and Art-Pop. Under the name of Chinawoman, she released her debut album “Party Girl” in 2007, followed by “Show Me The Face” in 2010, which brought her a bigger audience. Michelle Gurevich released a single called “Kiss in Taksim Square” during the Taksim Gezi Parkı protests.
