From the organizer:
Kiss of a Bird story Kuş Öpücüğü (Kiss of a Bird) is the story of a mother (Hatice) re-uniting with her son (Mehmet) who earns his life by playing accordion on the streets. The play begins in a neighbourhood renowned with its dealers, thieves and police raids that has already become part of the ordinary life. The mother and son confront with their past and each other in a single-room shelter. Mehmet’s growing chronic heart disease urges Hatice to find a cure. Their life changes suddenly the moment they start searching for hope in the glowing yet cruel world of television.
