Salon IKSV will host German synth-pop producer Roosevelt on Friday 22 September. Set to start at 22:00, tickets are priced at 45 TL (35 TL for students) and are available via Biletix.

In his early youth, he played the guitar and sang at many garage groups, which he noticed were all alike, and was seduced by the Cologne techno scene. He was the resident DJ of Cologne’s iconic Total Confusion Party nights for a few years. In 2012, through Greco-Roman, of Joe Goddard from Hot Chip, he published “Sea”, the first single of the Roosevelt project in which he integrated indie-pop with techno. The soft and sweet and creamy coffee sound reminiscent of the 80s was an immediate attraction to many people. Following a few singles after “Sea”, in 2016 he published his eponymously titled first album. He remixed to several figures such as Glass Animals, Sundara Karma, Sinkane, and Kakkmaddafakka; accompanied Hot Chip, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Crystal Fighters on their tours. This will be his first time in Istanbul.
