From the organizer:
The Soft Moon, the dark project of Luis Vasquez that seamlessly blends post-punk with industrial music, will grace us with their hypnotic performance on February 8th!
Luis Vasquez, a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer, showcases his solo project, The Soft Moon, which intricately weaves together elements of post-punk, industrial music, as well as influences from various styles such as EBM, darkwave, and ambient. The project unveiled its inaugural album in November 2010. Following the debut, The Soft Moon embarked on a tour across the United States alongside Interpol. In 2011, the project released its second studio album, “Zeros,” followed by the introspective and dark inner journey depicted in the third album, “Deeper,” released in 2015.
During his time in Berlin, Vasquez worked on “Criminals,” crafting The Soft Moon’s harshest and angriest album to date. Simultaneously, the artist released a remix EP featuring notable names such as Trentemøller, Ancient Methods, and Phase Fatale. Vasquez also lent his remixing skills to tracks by Jakuzi and She Past Away. The return of The Soft Moon in 2023 with “Exister” marked a fusion of dark electronic compositions with diverse musical genres, surprising their audience with a novel sonic experience.
On the night of February 8th, The Soft Moon will once again grace the stage at Babylon, delivering their impressive live performance to the listeners in Istanbul!
