Istanbul’s electronic music scene is set to ignite on Friday 23 May, as Portal X and Savanna Culture join forces to present the Portal to Paradise Festival, Chapter 005. Hosted at the lush open-air setting of Life Park, this one-night spectacle brings together some of the most powerful names in the global techno circuit. Headlined by Nico Moreno and TRYM, with an opening set from local rising star Matrakk, the event promises an unforgettable journey through industrial, hard techno, and rave-infused energy. Matrakk is a genre-fluid electronic artist known for weaving together techno, trance, dance, and early ’90s influences into a bold, unmistakable sound. Refusing to follow formulaic structures, his sets are infused with emotional range—often light-hearted, energizing, and joy-driven—while his precision and speed behind the decks reflect years of experience and versatility.
