Toastmasters is the best way for everyone-whether a working professional, student, stay-at-home parent or retiree- to improve his or her communication and leadership skills. Members overcome the fear of public speaking and learn skills that aid them in becoming more successful. Toastmasters creates better listeners and stronger team members and leaders who can comfortably give and receive constructive evaluations.
Toastmasters is a club for people who want to practice and improve their public speaking and communication skills. It’s an international club, with 332,000 members in 15,400 clubs spread around 135 countries.
Toastmasters in general was founded in 1924. The Bosphorus Toastmasters chapter was started in 2015 by Istanbul Toastmasters members in Istanbul.
The club meets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 19:30 at Gönen Hotel in Taksim.
If you would like to attend the meetings as a guest, you are more than welcome to do so. Guests are entitled to attend twice, free of charge. No reservation is required. Just come, and bring a friend.
