The event series Curious Community, organized by ATÖLYE and 3dots in partnership with the Swedish Institute, takes on the theme “The City and its Stakeholders” all year round. The April edition of the event titled “Cosmopolitanism and the City” will be about the examples of artwork made by refugees in Sweden and Turkey, the changing notions of “citizenship” through learning and production practices and cohabitation in the cities.
Moderated by Hayy Açık Alan’s co-founder Saliha Yavuz, the event will host Sandi Hilal, artist, and designer from Sweden, Istanbul Biennial Exhibition Manager Elif Kamışlı, and SALT Research and Programs Director Meriç Öner.
