Babylon will host local synth-pop and darkwave veterans, Jakuzi on Friday 18 February. Doors are set to open at 20:30, with the performance kicking off at 21:30. Additional details can be found via the official event page.
Kicking off in 2016, Kutay Soyocak and Taner Yücel have been gaining momentum ever since the release of “Koca Bir Saçmalık” gained widespread attention. Weaving synth-pop and darkwave, with elements of lo-fi, new-wave, and post-punk, they have continued to perform in Istanbul and abroad, carving out a space for their unique sound and garnering quite a local following. The band currently consists of Kutay Soyocak, Can Kalyoncu, Meriç Erseçgen and Ahmetcan Gökçeer. Their last release was Hata Payı in 2019.
