Yıldırım Hotel in Denizli, Turkey, has reopened under new management after being closed for 3 months for refurbishments. Selin Uçman Herman, granddaughter of one of the original founds, and husband Louis Herman, American expat (and former Yabangee contributor), are excited to announce the continuation of the family business.
The hotel, after having been rented to local Denizli businessman Mesut Yılmaz since 1996, will now be under the direction of Selin Uçman Herman, architect, and her American husband Louis Herman. They plan to elevate the standards hospitality, and hope to host businessmen as well as tourists in their 5 level hotel. “We are thrilled to be given the opportunity to run the Yildirim Hotel, and hope to excel in our passion for heartfelt and dignified hospitality,” says Louis Herman, General Manager.
Says Celal Yıldırım (co-founder) “Yildirim hotel is a strong part of our family legacy, and the reintroduction of progressive tourism and hospitality ideals is exactly what the company needs.”
