Indulge in the dreamy soundscapes and haunting melodies of British/American dream-pop outfit Still Corners at Salon IKSV on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 May. Doors open at 21:00 both evenings and tickets are available via Passo (Friday/Saturday).
From the organizer:
Tessa Murray and Greg Hughes met at a train station in London, sparking the birth of Wrecking Lights Records and a prolific musical journey. Their ethereal melodies and haunting lyrics swiftly resonated with audiences worldwide, epitomised by the entrancing allure of ‘The Trip’, which amassed over 60 million views on YouTube, from their debut album, Strange Pleasures. The concluding instalment of their trilogy, The Last Exit, unveiled in 2021, continued to immerse listeners in a world of introspection, weaving tales of dilapidated towns and vast landscapes with organic instrumentation and Tessa Murray’s smoky vocals. Now, amidst the anticipation of their sixth album, Dream Talk, set to release on 5 April, Still Corners invites Istanbulites on a journey through their dream-inspired melodies at Salon.
