Salon IKSV will host Spanish jazz musician Cecilia Krull on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 September. Set to start at 22:00, tickets are priced at 60 TL (45 TL for students) and are available via Biletix (Friday/Saturday).
From the organizer:
In the beginning of this year, a Spanish TV series stepped into our lives. Since that day, we were unable to imagine anything but kindhearted robbers with red jumpsuits and Dali masks, and of course its generic song ‘My Life is Going On’ that was brought to life by Cecilia Krull. Yes, we are talking about ‘La Casa de Papel’. Having risen to popularity with this song that bonded the audience with the show as much as the story itself, Krull was born to a musician family and started singing at the age of 7. Her biggest idols were Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Lauryn Hill. She sang for the Spanish Disney, during which she met the songwriter of ‘My Life is Going On’ and others in many films and TV shows, Manel Santisteban. Together they took part in various productions for 8 years. She also collaborated with Juan Sebastian Trio and Ivan Sangüesa Trio in their albums. It will be her first time in Istanbul where she has millions of listeners, to present songs from her debut album.
