Zorlu PSM will host local alternative star Nilipek, set to perform on Thursday 23 June. Taking place at 100% Studio, doors are set to open at 20:00, with the performance starting at 21:00. Tickets are available via Passo and more information is available via the official event page.

Nilipek, the calm name of the alternative scene, who has produced popular songs such as ‘Son Mektup’, ‘Gözleri Aşkla Gülen’, ‘Bildiğim Gibi’ and ‘Gömülür’, will be at %100 Studio on the evening of June 23!
Nilipek, who stepped into music with piano, violin and bass guitar education that she started at a young age, started to write her own songs with the guitar she picked up during her high school years. While studying at Boğaziçi University, Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling, she played bass guitar in the indie rock band Lemur, which she formed with Deniz Yıldız and Ergin Tural. Lemur, who released her first EP at the end of 2010, entered the top 10 in the Be the Band music competition.
She wrote and sang English lyrics in the dream pop group Hypnotic School in the Netherlands, where she went to do her master’s degree. Nilipek, who started her solo career and focused on her own songs since 2013 when she returned to Turkey, released her first album “Sabah” in 2015.
The album she recorded under the production of Ozan Tekin was selected as one of the best albums of the year by music writers. A year later, she released her album “sabah (remix)”, which consisted of remixed interpretations of many musicians such as Can Kazaz, Kamufle and Kaan Düzarat. In 2017, she recorded the album “Döngü”, which she described as “individual city mythology”, with her team consisting of Can Aydınoğlu on guitar, Ozan Tekin on keys, Umut Çetin on bass guitar and synth bass, and Berkay Küçükbaşlar on drums.
Mektuplar, the third studio album of Nilipek., consists of two parts of five songs each. The letters take listeners on a journey from the opening song.
