Salon IKSV will host Turkish composer and saxophonist Korhan Futacı and Kara Orkestra on Friday 13 January. Set to start at 22:00, tickets are priced at 35 TL (25 TL for students) and available via the event page.
From the organizer:
Gained recognition for his lyrics, compositions and saxophone performance on Tamburada’s album ‘Fantastik’. His audience grew with his contribution to Dandadadan’s album ‘Sen Bana Birini Android’. Performed at Berlin, Antwerp, Istanbul; Akbank, Alanya and Afyon jazz festivals. Performed innumerable times at concert venues in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa and Antalya. Shared the stage with many international artists, working with Andy Jackson of Pink Floyd and David Gilmore albums. This time, Korhan Futacı visits the Salon stage with an orchestral sound he has found in his recent collaboration with Kara Orkestra. In other words, get ready for a soulful journey to outer space.
