Zorlu PSM will host Puerto Rican singer-songwriter and guitar talent José Feliciano and His Band on Tuesday 29 November. Set to start at 21:00, pre-sale tickets are priced from 50 TL to 150 TL (public sale ranges from 70 TL to 170 TL) and available via their ticket page.

Feliciano gained worldwide success in the 60’s when he covered the famous The Doors hit; Light My Fire, specifically in 1968. Later on he became a major deal in U.S. In the same year he won the prestigious Grammy Awards twice and later on Feliciano combined Flamenco, soft rock, pop, latin and created his unique blend of sound. In 1970, he released a Christmas EP called Feliz Navidad and the EP became one of the biggest Christmas hits of all time. Throughout the years Feliz Navidad has been covered by numerous artists.
In his long and successful career, Feliciano recored albums both in English and Spanish and also shared the same stage with legends such as Bob Dylan and Joan Baez. In 1969, he worked with the legendary Quincy Jones on the Mackenna’s Gold movie soundtrack.
Through his career, José Feliciano’s magical route always crossed with legends. He performed several duets with Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash, Bing Crosby, Glen Campbell, Andy Williams, Minnie Ripperton and Diana Ross.
In 2000, he was presented the Grammy Legend Award at the 42nd Annual Grammy Awards. A few interesting facts from Feliciano’s career; in 1994 he released a dance record titled “Goin’ Krazy” under the pseudonym JR. Latino and not so suprisingly, he had huge success with that unusual record. In 1996, he had a cameo role in Coen Brother’s thriller “Fargo” where he performed as a lounge act whereas Steve Buscemi took an escort for an evening out.
