Salon IKSV will host Finnish synth-pop Jaakko Eino Kalevi on Saturday 8 October. Set to start at 22:30, tickets are priced at 45 TL (35 TL for students) and available via Biletix.
From the organizer:
The latest discovery of Domino Records that is known to be a home for big shots like Arctic Monkeys and Franz Ferdinand. Changed his direction to a music career while driving trams in Helsinki, and made his first major blast with his 2013 EP, Dreamzone. What followed was a self-titled album, that is likely to be heard as the closing generic of a Sofia Coppola movie in the future. Even though he is compared to Ariel Pink because of his flaxen blond hair and lo-fi rhythms, he is more likely to be the distant cousin of Air, Sebastian Tellier and Wild Nothing, from Finland.
