Salon IKSV will host Britain’s “apocalyptic space funk band” The Comet is Coming on Saturday 17 December. Set to start at 22:00, tickets are priced at 45 TL (35 TL for students) and are available via Biletix.

The band members also play for Melt Yourself Down and Sons of Kemet. Formed in 2013 in London, after a series of private jam sessions. Released their debut album, Channel the Spirits, past April. They take their inspiration from space, sci-fi and B-movies. According to The Guardian, they are the true successors of Sun Ra. They have most recently been nominated for Mercury prize 2016.
