Mohamed Shalaby

I am a Filmmaker currently living in Turkey finishing my two bachelor degrees; major in Film & TV and minor in motion design from Bahcesehir university. I did a short term study (Erasmus) in KENT university in film studies. My main specialties in the field of filmmaking are; directing, writing, editing and cinematography. I’ve worked on many projects and sets for TV shows, short films, documentaries, and music videos. I am also a cinephile, In 2018 I attended Berlin film festival, Rotterdam Film festival, Istanbul Film festival. In the same year my short documentary film about my 51 kilo loss journey was chosen to participate in the GLOBAL SHORT DOCS FORUM in London, which is a new initiative connecting filmmakers of documentary shorts with digital platforms. I am a photographer with an experience of 2+ years. I’ve worked as an event, portrait, food, cityscape, street art photographer. My work is recognized widely on different social media platforms such as; Facebook, Instagram and 500px.
