Do you have a social impact idea which you would like to present and maybe even get an opportunity to implement and carry out? Do you want to learn about and meet other people who share the same passion? How about learning from the experienced mentors in the field?
Save the date!
If your answer is positive, then save the date for the first Social Impact Summit, organised by a volunteer youth community group of volunteers gathered under Istanbul&I and hosted by Habita co-working space in Sanayi. The summit, operating with the motto #ActToImpact, will take place on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 December 2016.
Want to participate?
Applications for the summit are currently being accepted. Young changemakers can apply online and organizers will choose 100 people to join the summit in Istanbul. A two-day long summit will focus on leadership building and community engagement towards social impact programs. For this first summit, organizers wish to bring together “young people with a passion and commitment to social impact, regardless of their background or social standing. Using social media we aim to further push this movement, attracting a diverse group of participants.” Istanbul&I, in partnership with various mentors, will lead workshops to help the participants cultivate and clarify their personal purpose; building a community of co-creators and lifelong collaborators, and help further develop their social impact ideas.
If you think you have the passion and drive to make a difference then follow them on Facebook and Instagram and join the movement… to help create social impact, wherever you are! #ActToImpact and apply here. The application deadline is Sunday 27 November.
