Every semester, Yabangee looks to connect with university students to collaborate on their event calendar. These volunteer positions are largely flexible and depend on the interests of each respective student. Promotion is the easiest and most common way students are involved, sharing Yabangee events with their own networks, joining us at our events, and being a more engaged member of our community. Event feedback is highly valued and we encourage team members to also step forward, share their event ideas, and become involved in the organizational process. Many of the events we have featured at Yabangee have been put forward by our team members.
The position is best suited for students who:
- Have a passion for events and Istanbul more broadly
- Speak English and at least one other language
- Have a network of their own
- Have experience with and are active on social media
- Have an interest in networking with students from other universities and internationals living in Istanbul
