Workshop: Motion and Yoga Therapy @ Apollo Space

Apollo Space is organizing a yoga workshop for yoga practitioners for all levels on Sunday 24 December at 14:00. In this workshop participants will learn different tools to deal with stress using yoga and movement therapy practices. This colorful meetup circle will include a heart opening yoga therapy flow, breathing techniques, different body-awareness methods, and improvisational movement. The participation fee is 50 TL, and they kindly ask you to bring your own mat.

About the instructor: Renk Koçtürk has spent most of her life in New York City. For the past 2,5 years, she’s been living in Istanbul. Aside from being a professional dancer, she is a certified alignment yoga instructor, and dance/yoga therapist. She has worked with children and adults of all ages and abilities. She has worked in the United States, Thailand, and Turkey. Renk’s workshops consist of breath work, yoga therapy centered around healing specific topics, and movement therapy focusing on empowering movement, authentic movement, and healing through dance.

About the organizer: APOLLO SPACE is a platform that functions as a workspace during the day. In the evenings and on the weekends it transforms into an experience hub with lectures, events, workshops and learning modules. We are inviting multidisciplinary creatives to join our experimental co-working / co-thinking events to have a collective vision for future. APOLLO SPACE is also available for you to plan your special events by providing its space and fully equipped infrastructure.
