Hayal Koç

Hayal was born in San Francisco, California and spent most of her life in the United States, also living in New York City and Atlanta. After over a decade working in investment banking and strategy consulting, Hayal relocated to Istanbul and co-founded a startup called Expertera, where she currently leads sales, marketing and business development. Expertera is a global expertise marketplace that connects companies with top-talent and expertise on a flexible, on-demand basis. Hayal is passionate about Istanbul and Turkish culture and is an optimist by nature. She also loves modern art, photography and travel. She frequently visits galleries all over the city and is an avid traveler - she’s been to 60+ countries, 44/50 states, and 6/7 continents thus far!
