Our hilarious friend and contributor Othman Nahhas will be hosting a stand-up special of his own at Yota Sahnesi on Friday 8 September. Doors are set to open at 20:00, with entry set at 20 TL.

Well… It’s time! You know how when you think of Syria you think of comedy and laughter? I would like to put that on stage for you!
For most of my adulthood (not that long) I’ve been collecting stories of what it’s like to be the Syrian kid on the block. So if you wanna have an insight into a Syrian’s kid mind who’s lost in the west, come on over to Yota on the 8th of September!
A surprise opening act will be welcoming you before I tell stories about growing up in Syria, living all over the world and fighting prejudices in the funniest way I can come up with.
Come down and have a laugh, Syriasly… you’ll have a good time.
