Zorlu PSM will host the Tech 4 Culture Conference from the British Council on Thursday 16 March in between 13.00 – 17.30. The conference is open for everyone particularly professionals in the arts and tech communities like coders, developers, designers, data scientist and arts and cultural practitioners. British Council in collaboration with Technology Development Foundation, The Audience Agency and Outlandish curated a series of events to inspire arts and technology communities to foster digital collaborations for audience development in the Cultural sector.
Presented by Simon Cronshaw, co-founder of Remix Summits, the event series will culminate with a conference to discuss barriers, explore solutions and inspire the future of culture and technology.
Tech4Culture is the British Council’s global hack programme, which invites tech and culture communities to play and create prototypes.
The UK has become a recognised global leader in applying digital hacking practice and business start-up strategy to the cultural domain. We believe that creative and cultural industries globally are well placed to benefit from technological innovation; it’s time to embrace the digital revolution.
British Council, in partnership with Turkey Technology Development Foundation, The Audience Agency and Outlandish will curate a series of events between December 2016 and February 2017 to share knowledge and experiences from the UK, encourage new thinking and inspire new digital ideas in the cultural sector across Turkey. The series will culminate with a showcasing conference in March 2017.
