Closet Circuit will host the upcoming “Summer Workshop Part I: Rooftop Sketching and Acrylic Paint” led by the talented Gabrielle Reeves on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 July from 16:00 to 20:00. Entry is set at 60 TL for one session or 100 TL for both, with additional fees for painting materials. A location is soon TBA with registration ending Monday 25 July. About the workshop:
This workshop will focus on cityscape sketching and painting from Istanbul rooftops. Students will learn how to create perspective through line and color and will gain basic knowledge in how to approach an acrylic painting. Instruction will be given by Gabrielle Reeves Oral. The workshop will be taught in English and basic translation provided in Turkish when requested. Rooftop locations TBA.

Price:
Full workshop: 100 TL (8 hours)
Single day: 60 TL (4 hours)
Materials:
Acrylic painting packets will be available for pre-order for 45TL.
Packets include a set of paints, brushes and a pallet.
Please bring your own surface to paint on. This can be gessoed pieces of paper, canvas, canvas board or masonite board. Recommended size is 1 piece 30x50cm or smaller. Students can also choose to work on a series of 3-5 small paintings, around 13x20cm.
Please bring pencils and erasers to lay out initial sketches. We also recommend a hat and sunglasses.

To order a material packet, please inform us by Monday, 25 July. We ask that you arrive 10-minutes before the start of the first class to pay and secure your place. Remaining places will be given to drop-ins.
