The team at Yabangee is excited to announce that the month of November is dedicated to two of our favorite things in Istanbul: food and drink. While we may not be experts (let’s face it, we’re no Culinary Backstreets), we have a large group of contributors, each of whom has a vast knowledge of where to eat and drink in this city.
One feature that you’ll be seeing a lot of this month is our Yabangee Recommends series. Inspired by Washington City Paper’s Food Issue (to which former Yabangee contributor Diane Zhang so kindly alerted us), we will be giving suggestions for where to go in Istanbul for special occasions that range from the generic (“Where do I take my visiting parents?”) to the more specific (“My friend thinks the only good breakfast spot is Van Kahvaltı Evi.
