From the organizer:

Taking an interest in playing the guitar as a result of his love for blues and soul classics, which he had discovered on the radio during his years as a clarinet student, Bill Frisell is one of the key musicians in jazz history. Having the great opportunity to have Jim Hall as his teacher at Berklee College of Music, Frisell showcased his talent in a short time, becoming the studio guitarist for ECM, a major jazz label. Leaving his fans with astonishment with his productivity, Frisell has at least thirty albums under his name. Having played for the albums of masters such as Paul Motian, John Zorn, as well as legends like Eberhard Weber and Jan Garbarek, Grammy winner Frisell is a genius who never draws back from incorporating any of his inspirations into music, from avant-garde jazz to Mali music and from John Lennon to Buster Keaton. Words are not enough to describe him; his music is good for all occasions.

Bill Frisell: Electronic Guitar – Jenny Scheinman: Violin – Eyvind Kang: Viola – Hank Roberts: Cello
