Summer, fall, winter, or spring, we all want ice cream. Luckily, the ice cream makers at Mua have a flavor for every season. Their flavors follow the crops, from the various berries and melons of warm temperatures to nuts and pomegranate in the cold winter months, along with the mainstays of any ice cream shop: chocolate, plain, coffee and cinnamon. Their ice creams are not only seasonal but also made from all natural ingredients in the Italian style. No ‘E’ numbers or preservatives, just a creamy refreshing dessert to eat either on the go while having a wander around the neighborhood or when taking a quick break to sit and people watch.

Mua expanded their products this summer with the opening of their most recent branch just around the corner from Galata Tower. Here they have a comfortable indoor and outdoor seating area where their patrons can eat their ice cream with a view. It’s a pleasant place to sit and watch the tourists visiting Galata and the street traffic moving up to Istiklal or down to Karaköy. Mua Cafe offers a variety of fresh salads, sandwiches and soups, also made mindful of the current season. For a sweet tooth craving something other than gelato, there are a variety of homemade cakes and pastries. At the moment these options include a tasty looking plum or apple cake.

To quench a hot or cold thirst, the menu includes many choices of herbal or black teas and brewed coffee. Especially with the colder months upon us, you can have a hot drink to warm up after a stroll down Istiklal.

Mua Cafe offers free WiFi to all customers and has smaller branches in Yeniköy and Cihangir.
